St. Cloud Officers were sent to the scene of an attempted robbery of a young woman on Sunday. Police say the victim, a 21 year old St. Cloud woman, was walking east on the 600 block of 7th Street South when two black men confronted her. The suspects were described as being in their mid 20s and between 5’7” and 5’10”. One was wearing all black and the other was wearing a white jacket with blue stripes on the shoulders and arms. Police say the man in all black came up from behind and started to push and kick the victim until she fell then tried to take her purse. The man was unable to take the purse and was last seen running westbound on 7th Street South. The victim sustained only minor injuries that didn’t require medical care.
