TyRueben Ellingson, a major player in the creation of the blockbuster hit, Avatar, visits the SCSU Campus on Wednesday. With SCSU being his alma mater, Ellingson will present “Art School to Avatar” as well as visit graphic design and creative writing classes. Ellingson was hand-picked for James Cameron’s elite art department to work on the film Avatar. He was the lead vehicle designer when dealing with the human presence in the alien world Pandora, as well as influencing the 3D aspect of the film.
