Archived: Bat found in St. Cloud tests Positive for Rabies
Two people from St. Cloud may have been exposed to a bat that tested positive for rabies. The city health department says the bat was captured in a St. Cloud home and tested earlier this week. The health department is asking the public to avoid contact with bats. Anyone who is bitten by a bat or comes in contact with infectious material such as saliva should call the health department so the bat can be collected for testing.
