A benefit for the family of a local fallen soldier will be held this weekend. Sgt. Kurt Kruise, from St. Cloud, was killed in Iraq in April. He left behind a wife and four children. On Saturday, a motorcycle/hot rod run will be held at the Clearwater Legion. Registration begins at 9:30 am. The ride begins at 10:30. A bake sale and silent auction will be held at 2:00 with games, music and dinner happening later in the day. All money raised at the event will go to Sgt. Kruise’s wife and four kids.
