Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota received a check from the Federal Insurance Foundation for $300,000, the largest contribution in the organization’s history. The donation was raised over the summer thanks to the Federated Challenge for kids of Minnesota, which was co-chaired by Federal Insurance Chairman Al Annexstad and his wife Cathy. The event lasted two days, was hosted by Federated and Wells Fargo Bank and held in the twin cities. “Because of the vision and generosity…of the many sponsors of the Federated Challenge, hundreds of our Central Minnesota youth are benefitting from a mentoring relationship,” noted the agency’s director Jackie Johnson.
