A ten year old boy is in critical condition at the Hennepin County Medical Center after he was injured in a farm accident on Monday. The boy, Kurt Herdering, was helping with farm chores and became trapped in an auger at his home at 27855 County Road 17 in Millwood Township, just north of Freeport, Minnesota. 

The accident happened just after five o’clock and Herdering was taken from the scene by Life Link to the St. Cloud Hospital and later to the Hennepin County Medical Center.
