Archived: C.R.A.S.H. Task Force Report

The C.R.A.S.H. Task Force, made up of all police departments in Central Minnesota conducted a “high-visibility” DWI sting on Saturday evening, in hoping to reduce serious injury and crashes relating to driving while intoxicated. The sting was located on Highway 23 and County Road 75 from the city of St. Cloud, to the city of St. Joseph. There were 134 vehicles stopped, eight people were arrested and taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. Other violations included; 17 seatbelt tickets, 12 speeding tickets, and three equipment violations. For more information on the Central Minnesota C.R.A.S.H. Task Force, contact Lt.
