A cab driver is hurt after being assaulted in St. Cloud, police say. Officers responded to the call at 1520 Sherburne Drive, on the east side of the city. Upon arrival officers learned that a cab driver had been threatened and assaulted by a man using a weapon resembling a box cutter. The suspect was identified as 49 year old Phillip Jesse Baxter of St. Cloud who was still on the scene when officers arrived. Baxter, whose weapon was recovered at the scene, was arrested and taken to Sherburne County Jail. The injuries the victim sustained were non life threatening.
