A car ran into a man after he attempted to run across the road in South St. Cloud on Monday afternoon.

The City of St. Cloud Police Department say that 64-year-old Neysa Evelyn Ballman of Maple Lake was heading south on Roosevelt Road when Christian Taylor Robinson, a 20-year-old St. Cloud man, was walking on the sidewalk. Robinson attempted to run across the middle of the road and Ballman was unable to stop in time and hit Robinson.

Robinson was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries.
