St. Cloud Police were called to a vehicle accident on Highway 15 and 8th Street North around 7:30 a.m. Monday. Police say 43-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Gerhardt of St. Cloud was travelling northbound on Highway 15 in the left lane when he was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Suzanne Kampa Lintgen of Waite Park.

Lintgen was merging into the left lane and could not stop in time before rear-ending Gerhardt. Police gave Lintgen a citation for inattentive driving while Gerhardt was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
