Archived: Celebrating Campus & Community Connections

The campus is celebrating the connections made between St. Cloud State University and the community Thursday with an event called “Showcasing Student and Community Collaboration.”   A group of campus organizations and faculty are recognizing collaboration that occurs in academic courses, student organizations, internship programs, and department or University-level student-led initiatives.  Students and their partners will showcase current involvement to a wide audience of on and off-campus constituents.  The event, which is open to the public, begins at 9 a.m. in the Atwood Memorial Center’s Ballroom and will continue until 11:30 a.m.

St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis is taking part in the event—and awards will be given out in many categories such as Best Academic Connection, Best Community Initiative Best Connection to Professional Field via Internships and Greatest Community Impact.
