The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force assisted in the arrested of a Little Falls man today who had 17 arrest warrants out on him.

The Task Force assisted the Investigators from the U.S. Marshals North Star Fugitive Task Force in arresting 29-year-old Ahmed Abdel Hafiz in Little Falls. Hafiz was located at a residence on the 200 block of 7^th Street northwest in Little Falls and was taken into custody without any incidents.

Prior to making the arrest, the Superintendent of Little Falls schools was told about the upcoming arrest and decided that a few nearby schools would be put into temporary lockdown.
