Archived: City Council to Consider Extending Free Parking Downtown
Next month, the St. Cloud City Council will vote on whether the two-hour free parking program in downtown St. Cloud should be extended another year. Since June, downtown drivers have been allowed to park their cars on downtown streets for up to two hours for free. The St. Cloud Downtown Council is in the process of surveying downtown business owners on whether the free parking program has impacted business. The information received will be made available to the City Council when they vote on this matter at their January 11th meeting.
