The City of St. Cloud is asking for your support to help a new renovation and expansion project on the St. Cloud Municipal Athletic Complex.

Governor Tim Walz is joining an effort to help the state’s bonding priorities, and the city of St. Cloud hopes to receive the necessary funds for the MAC.  The estimated cost is expected to be $24.3 million and the city is asking for the State to pay $12.15 million, which is half the total cost.

The City of St. Cloud is not the only city hoping to receive assistance as more than 200 local government requests have been submitted in advance of the 2020 Legislative Session.

The MAC has been in existence for almost fifty years, where it is home to youth and amateur sports, while also hosting various high school and college events.
