A Stearns County road will be closed for nearly two weeks.

Road work on County Road 71 in Richmond will begin on Wednesday.

The road will be completely closed just north of the public boat landing.

A detour will be posted.

And: Access to the boat landing will be from the south.

The road work is expected to last through Oct. 9.
