The Nepalese Students Association at St. Cloud State University is organizing a cultural program that will mark the two biggest festivals of Nepal, Dashain and Tihar.

The program will showcase various cultural songs, dances, traditional cuisine and an informative presentation about Nepali culture. The program will run from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday October 22nd in the Atwood Ballroom. Tickets for the event will be on sale at Atwood from October 17th through October 21st.

Dashain is the biggest festival that is celebrated to mark the victory of truth over falsehood. Tihar is the festival of lights that is celebrated to worship the goddess of prosperity and wealth.
