The LGBT Resource Center at Saint Cloud State University is partnering with the Rural Aids Action Network in support of the “Dining Out For Life” event.

LGBT Director Brandon Johnson says “Dining Out For Life” is a fundraiser for programs that provide care for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Locally, Bo Diddley’s is donating 20% of all lunch proceeds between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Thursday.

Sven Sundgaard, SCSU alum, and Kare 11 News personality will be in the area and may make an appearance!

In 2011, the RAAN has served 301 people living with AIDS, provided 650 free, rapid HIV tests, and given emergency medical transportation to 197 clients.
