St. Cloud police officers responded to a call in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue Southeast late Wednesday night in reference to a woman with a knife.

According to the report, police learned upon arrival that 35-year-old Nakita Cheviell Jordan of St. Cloud had attempted to cut her boyfriend, 37-year-old Sean Victor Simms also of St. Cloud, with a box cutter. Police also learned that Simms had an Order of Protection against Jordan. Jordan also said Simms had choked her to the point of unconsciousness.

Jordan was arrested for 2nd degree assault, domestic assault and violation of the Order of Protection. Simms was arrested for felony domestic assault by strangulation. Both are being held for court in the Benton County Jail.
