A woman was allegedly hit in the face with a baseball bat during a fight on Friday. Officers arrived at the 900 block of 8th Avenue South in Saint Cloud for a reported domestic assault in progress. Police say the victim, a 36 year old woman, was struck in the face with a baseball bat by 50-year-old Wayne Hayes Martin of Saint Cloud. Martin was arrested and taken to the Stearns County Jail where he is currently held on 2nd degree assault charges.
