On Sunday afternoon a driver on County Road 17 near Melrose Township lost control on the icy roads. The driver, Leanae Beth Glasner struck the vehicle of Jane Ann Austing. 

Austing’s vehicle then struck an attached garage of a home which belonged to James Fuchs, who was not home at the time. Melrose Ambulance transported both drivers and their children to the Melrose Hospital. Their injuries are considered to be non-life threatening.
