The St. Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force along with the St. Cloud Drug Unit executed a search warrant at 748 Washington Memorial Drive Wednesday. A search of the home found 82 marijuana plants and another 70 plants that had already been harvested.

Police say an operation like this has the potential of producing an amount of marijuana with a street value near $100,000. Officers also found eight gallon sixed Ziploc bags containing marijuana weighing just over three pounds and a digital scale.

29-year-old Chad Edward Scheeler of St. Cloud was arrested coming from the home. A search warrant of his home found evidence of marijuana use and a shotgun. Scheeler is charged with 5th degree sale of a controlled substance.
