A man is dead after drunk driving crash.

According to Sergeant Jesse Grabow, Jose Claudio Jimbo Llapa, a 40-year-old of Columbia Heights, was driving toward St. Cloud on Highway 10 near the Elk River and Jarvis Street intersection, next to Furniture and Things.

A semi-truck pulled onto the highway and was speeding up when Llapa rear ended him. Llapa was not wearing seat belt and was under the influence of alcohol.

He was pronounced dead after the crash.
