Archived: DWI Arrest In St. Cloud
A St. Cloud man’s erratic driving led to his arrest early Friday morning. St. Cloud Police observed 51-year-old Robert Louis Martin commit multiple traffic offenses, leading to a traffic stop.
St. Cloud Police said that while speaking with Martin officers noticed a strong alcohol odor on his breath. Police had Martin perform field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly. After Martin was placed under arrest for suspected DWI, a driver’s license check showed Martin did not have a Minnesota driver’s license.
According to police, Martin has numerous previous DWI convictions including a felony DWI in Michigan.
