E-Cigs and Vapes Face New Restirctions

The state of Minnesota has expanded the Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act to include e-cigarettes and vapes.

The new restrictions that began this month, are intended to protect Minnesotans from exposure to deadly secondhand smoke in indoor public places. Vapes and e-cigarettes are now subject to the same prohibitions and restrictions as cigarette smoking in places such as bars, almost all indoor workplaces, public transportation, hotels, and many others.

The law went into effect on August 1st. For more information visit the Minnesota Department of Health website.
