Students at St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud residents can now pre-register to vote for Election Day on Nov. 6. St. Cloud Auditor-Treasurer Randy Schreifels says pre-registering will cut down on congestion and speed up processes at voting places in November.

The Voter Registration Application can be found online and filled out at home. Voters can have the application mailed to them by contacting the Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office at 320-656-3920.

Students can return their application to the Student Union office inside Atwood Memorial Center. Residents can return theirs at the Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer’s office. 

Pre-registering by Oct. 16 will ensure the voter’s name will be on the polling place roster on Election Day.
