Law Enforcement officials issued 62 citations and 10 arrests last Saturday night when they saturated a 10 mile stretch of road in Stearns County. The Central Minnesota Reduction of Accidents for Safe Highways Task Force, or “CRASH Task Force,” patrolled Division Street and County Road 75 from the Mississippi River in St. Cloud to I-94 in St. Joseph. The goal is to of reduce serious injury and fatality crashes. In all, the task force issued 9 DWI arrests, 4 driving after withdrawal citations, 4 speeding tickets and 9 seat belt citations, among others. The CRASH task force is made up of officers from law enforcement agencies all over Central Minnesota.
