An event aimed at developing health care directives will be taking place Thursday on the campus of St. Cloud State University. The event will run from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Mississippi Room of the Atwood Memorial Center. Nurses, doctors and other professionals often encounter situations in which families struggle with end-of-life care.

Various options for directives will be presented to participants who will be able to complete their own directives that could later become a legal document. Presenters include faculty member in Nursing Science Joyce Simones, faculty members in Gerontology Phyllis Greenberg and Rona Karasik.
