A failure to yield resulted in a traffic accident Tuesday. Officers arrived at 44th Avenue and 8th Street North at about 4:00 pm. Police say 22-year-old Erin Kranz of Saint Cloud failed to yield right of way to oncoming traffic and was hit by a 30-year-old Clear Lake resident. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention from Gold Cross. Kranz was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
