A 31-year-old St. Cloud man is in the Stearns County Jail for allegedly throwing a glass at a person while fighting at a downtown St. Cloud bar early Monday morning. It happened just before 2:00 am at MC’s Dugout on West St. Germain Street. Police say Jesse Rowland Smith got into a verbal argument with a 23-year-old person from St. Cloud. During the argument, police say Smith threw a glass at the person, causing injuries to the face. That’s when, police say, the fight continued on the street outside the bar. When police arrived, they say the victim was bleeding heavily from the face. The victim was treated at the hospital for non life-threatening injuries. Smith was arrested for assault and is being held for court.
