The filing period for candidates running for federal, state, county, and city office began Tuesday at 8 a.m. Citizens in Stearns County wishing to file for county offices will have to report to the Stearns County courthouse and file with the county auditor. St. Cloud citizens planning to file for city office will have to file with the municipal clerk at city hall. Federal and state candidates will have to file at the Secretary of State’s office in St. Paul.
