Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that was started in an abandoned home just outside of Belgrade. Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and the Belgrade Fire Department were called to a house fire at 46673 Town Hall Road in Crow Lake Township around 4:20 a.m. Thursday morning.

When emergency crews arrived, the abandoned home was engulfed in flames. Officials say some of the out buildings on the North side of the road also started on fire. Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control. The fire is under investigation.
