St. Cloud State’s women’s hockey team freshman goalie Katie Fitzgerald was named rookie of the week for her performance last weekend as the team swept at Bemidji State. Fitzgerald did not allow an even strength goal over the weekend and stopped 34 of 35 shots. The women’s hockey team will be on the road again this weekend. The Huskies are coming off a sweep of Bemidji state as they head to the University of North Dakota for a pair of games Friday and Saturday night.
