Area police officers stopped almost 100 drivers during a traffic detail last week. The area focused on Highway 10 between Benton Drive and County Road 29 in Sartell. Police made 5 D-W-I arrests during the enforcement. They also handed out 19 citations for seat belt violations…speeding…driving after withdrawl…among others.
The traffic detail is part of the Crash Taskforce…also known as the Central Minnesota Reduction for Safe Highways. The main goal of the group is to reduce serious crashes and work Toward the Zero Death Initiative (TZD).
