Archived: Five People Face Drug Charges in Sherburne County
Five people were busted for allegedly selling meth over the weekend. According to Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott, investigators from the Drug Task Force developed information on the possible sale of methamphetamine going on in Sherburne County. After investigation, DTF investigators got search warrants for two homes: one in Elk River and one in Livonia Township. Investigators served those warrants and found methamphetamine along with drug packaging material. The team arrested four people for 5th degree controlled substance sale.
Arrested were 46 year old Ronald Borgan, 37 year old Jennifer Brynman, 56 year old Kelly Bothum, all from Elk River, and 42 year old Stacy Toumi of Andover. 49 year old Randall Hyde of Princeton was arrested later by the Princeton Police Department for allegedly selling drugs after investigators issued a pick up and hold order to surrounding police agencies. All five people are currently in Sherburne County Jail awaiting charges.
