Follow-up police work led to the arrest of two men wanted for stealing from a Waite Park home. Police say on Saturday night, a man who lives on the 600 block of Seventh Street South got a ride home from two men, and when he got home, one of the men took out a knife and they demanded money. Police say the suspects stole money, a DVD player, and left. A description of their car was released to area law enforcement.

Just after midnight Monday, a Waite Park police officer saw the car on 3rd Street North in Waite Park. The officer stopped the car and arrested 21-year-old Christopher Smith and 23-year-old MaCarthur Hicks. They are in the Stearns County Jail facing strong arm robbery charges.
