Archived: Former Goalkeeper Kelly Turns Coach
Former St. Cloud State soccer standout Elizabeth Kelly will continue her career in soccer, but now as a coach rather than a player. The former Husky goalkeeper has signed on as an assistant coach at Wisconsin-Superior. Kelly joins the Yellowjackets coaching staff after completing her playing career at St. Cloud State in the Fall of 2009. In her tenure at SCSU, Kelly was a team captain and posted a 10-5-5 record in her senior season. She earned 3rd Team All-NSIC honors and holds multiple school records including most wins, shutouts, and lowest goals against average.
Kelly will join the Yellowjackets this fall and also plans to work towards her master’s degree while at Wisconsin-Superior.
