Brent Borgen and Michael Olson’s time on the ice at St. Cloud State may be finished, but the former Huskies will try their hand at professional hockey. 
Olson, who scored 16 goals and added 16 assists in four seasons at SCSU, has signed with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL. A fan favorite while at SCSU, Olson served as an alternate captain for the Huskies for two seasons and notched a personal best 13 points as a Senior.

Borgen, who transfered to St. Cloud after playing at Minnesota for two seasons, has been invited on a try-out to play for the St. Louis Blues prospects team at the annual Traverse City Prospects Tournament in Michigan. The tournament takes place September 6-10. In two seasons at St. Cloud, Borgen totaled 21 points.
