Fort Snelling State Park reopened to the public on Saturday.

The DNR closed the park again on May 17 due to flooding.

The visitor center, park office, parking lots, Snelling Lake trail, swimming beach and its picnic area are available again to the public.

Some other areas will remain closed.

With its reopening, Fort Snelling hosted three events for Memorial Weekend.
