Parents of students in the St. Cloud Area School District and concerned citizens are invited to attend a forum to learn what they can do to influence legislators to support public schools. The forum, hosted by two district 742 committees, will feature Mary Cecconi of Parents United. Attendees can expect to learn about school funding, school issues, how to be an advocate, the District 742 legislative platform, and meet local legislators who were invited to attend. The forum, which is open to the public, will be held Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Apollo High School Learning Resources Center.
