Stearns County is holding an open house for the public to see its new Household Hazardous Waste Facility on Saturday April 14th. Tri-County Solid Waste moved into its new building in Waite Park in early February after outgrowing its old space in St. Cloud.

The Household Hazardous Waste building collects and recycles or disposes hazardous products such as paint and pesticides. Waste will not be accepted the day of the open house.

Everyone is invited to stop by and take a tour of the new state-of-the-art building and learn more about the facility and services they offer residents.  Treats and beverages will be served.  The open house will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  The building is located at 3610 5th Street South in Waite Park.
