The two-hour free parking program in downtown St. Cloud will live to see another day. The Downtown Council Board of Directors voted unanimously to extend the trial program thru the end of 2010. Since June of last year, St. Cloud drivers have been allowed to park their cars on downtown streets for up to two hours for free. The Downtown Council Board says extending the program one more year is fair considering recent road construction in the area and the economic recession.
