Central Minnesotans have a chance to get to know the local senate and house candidates whose names will be on the ballot this November. Goodwill/Easter Seals Minnesota is hosting a candidate forum Tuesday from 5:30-7:00 pm at the Whitney Senior Center in St. Cloud. Candidates confirmed to attend the forum are John Pederson and Bruce Hentges, vying for Senate District 15, Steve Gottwalt and Anne Nolan, competing for the seat in House District 15A, as well as King Banaian and Carol Lewis, who are facing off in House District 15B. Attendees will learn where the candidates stand on issues such as health care, jobs, transportation, and the state budget.
