A four-year-old St. Cloud girl drowned Monday night at Warner Lake Park in Clearwater.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says Alyssa Aicher was reported missing by her mother, 25-year-old Crystal Kay Aicher at the beach area just before 8 p.m. Monday. After a search by both her parents and bystanders, a bystander found the girl in about five feet of water close to 30 feet off the shore. CPR was administered to the girl while rescue crews were arriving.

Aicher was transported by helicopter to the St. Cloud Hospital where all attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.
