Archived: Habitat for Humanity Opens New Home in Big Lake
The Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity is giving a Big Lake family a home just in time for the holidays. On Wednesday at noon, a celebration is planned for the Jenson’s, who are more eager to move into their new home. The program will be held at the house, which is located at 180 Monroe Street in Big Lake.
Since its onset in 1989, the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity has placed 62 families in homes of their own. Every Habitat homeowner is required to spend at least 200 hours working on their homes.
