A hazardous spill has been cleaned up on the south side of St. Cloud. It happened just before 8:00 pm Monday on the 400 block of Clearwater Road. Police say a semi trailer containing nitric acid spilled near the St. Cloud Country Club. The road was blocked off and the hazmat response team was called to clean up the scene. Police say no one was injured and the spill was cleaned up without incident.
