The rain we got over the weekend is believed to be a factor in a car crash Saturday morning.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office say that 57-year-old Darlene Strommer, of Litchfield, was driving North on County Road 43 in Eden Lake when she crossed over the centerline and collided with 55-year-old Janell Watkins, of Paynesville. Both cars ended up in the ditch.

Strommer and Watkins both left the clash with minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
