Area drivers may want to alter their route as road work is beginning on Highway 23 near St. Cloud. The highway will be paved from west of Interstate 94 to one mile east of 94.

Construction began Monday morning. The road will be restricted to one lane for the duration of the work. The paving is scheduled to be completed November 18th.
