Starting on Monday, April 30th motorists traveling on Highway 23 between Lincoln Avenue Southeast and Wilson Avenue Southeast will encounter lane closures during the day.

Highway 23 will be closed between those two roads only for occasional nighttime bridge work and detours will be posted. The first nighttime bridge work is schedule for Monday starting at 7 p.m. for the demolition of the pedestrian bridge and will be completed by morning rush hour.

The construction on the pedestrian bridge will continue through August if weather permits.
