St. Cloud State University has hired Front Row Marketing, an internationally recognized firm, to help lead the project of finding a name for the soon to be renovated National Hockey Center. The firm’s main objective is to help identify potential companies who are interested in naming rights for the building, which is set to undergo a 30 million dollar renovation starting in 2011. Front Row consults with arenas and sports teams across the country, and most recently secured naming rights for a 10 thousand seat arena in Trenton, New Jersey.
After the renovation, the National Hockey Center will become a regional event facility that will not only host SCSU hockey, but also concerts and events. A new exterior, entryway, expanded seating and corporate suites are some of the amenities expected to be added when the two part renovation is completed in 2013.
