Folks in central Minnesota interested in making an international student’s thanksgiving a little brighter have until Wednesday, November 10th to apply. The Center for International Studies at St. Cloud State is looking for local families to host international students as part of the annual Thanksgiving Program. More than 1,100 international students from nearly 90 countries attend St. Cloud State. Many of these students have never experienced Thanksgiving and are curious about the traditions surrounding the American holiday. To participate in the program, all families need to do is sign up and set an extra plate or two at the dinner table.
